SPEC Spotlight: Taylor, Communications Manager

SPEC Spotlight: Taylor, Communications Manager

Taylor Duffy, Communications Manager

1574193183144I graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2018 and went to work full-time for a defense contracting company as their Communications and Marketing Analyst. I came to SPEC Innovations in March of 2022, so I am a relatively new addition to the team! My role consists of social media management, writing, moderating webinars, and other methods of marketing to build awareness of SPEC’s capabilities, specifically our tool, Innoslate. My favorite part of my role is the opportunity to let my creative juices flow. It excites me to know that I am an integral part of creating our brand.

My favorite part about SPEC is that it’s a small business. With many small businesses comes autonomy and easy accessibility to everyone in the company. I left my previous company to find a fully remote position. SPEC has given me the opportunity to live anywhere I want, but it doesn’t feel like everyone is spread out because we are constantly communicating on Gmail chat.

My family is currently myself, my Great Pyrenees dog, and my two Persian cats. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my friends, go to concerts, and do fun, DIY projects/crafts. If I could, I would eat Mexican food and watch Harry Potter every day!

Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and eager to make a real impact in the industry? Look no further! Visit our Careers page to check out our open positions.
